As a beginner, I wanted to know more about the html-xml-vmln ..relations. I've never thought of the need to learn HTML4 or even how I should write the <!DOCTYPE> or <style> in <head> tags. Marketing is further topic for me, I am stuck of background image. But, the idea of the business is good to learn.

Well this is a little embarrassing. I bought a physical copy of this about 5 years ago, and found some of the thinging to be a little dated at the time. Seeing it here, now 7 years old and still not overhauled is plain shameful. Worst is, beginners might not realise, and waste time learning out-dated techniques. I expect more from SitePoint. I'd love to see something new from them in the Email Marketing space.
